26 - 27 – Nautique Big Dawg Slalom Series Qualifier
The Big Dawg Slalom Series is a slalom ski series
consisting of 2 qualifiers and a final. The first qualifying round
for 2010 will be hosted by Lakes of Katy.
The Big Dawg can be
described as the equivalent to the Senior Tour in Golf. Skiers
must be 35 and older who have not placed
in the top 10 in a Pro Slalom Tournament in the past 3 years or any
skier over the age of 50. Famous World Champion skiers such as Chris
LaPoint, Andy Mapple, Lucky Lowe, compete head-to-head against top
ranked skiers such as Ben Favret, Scott Larson, Thierry Malhomme, Dave
Miller, Chad Scott and more than 50 other top ranked slalom skiers.
