| Lakes of Katy is home to many
top level competitive Slalom Skiers. If you're interested in
learning how to slalom ski, or just need someone to ski with, some
slalom skiers to call include: Joe Shea, Gary Honc, Mark Petrie,
Bill Berry, Bill Ogelsby, Woody Lyles, Todd Fry, and Kevin Kelm.

The neighborhood is host to several Slalom Ski
tournaments each year. For information on tournament
schedules, check out the Events
Schedule on the left side menu.
Highlight of the Month: Some of the top skiers in the
neighborhood arrange for top waterski professionals to come to
Lakes of Katy to conduct clinics. Trent Finlayson from
San Marcos, Texas, and Marcus Brown are both regular visitors.
Trent writes many articles for Watersk Magazine and was recently
featured on the front cover of the magazine. Chuck
Gleason has Trent out to LOK several times each year for photo
shoots after they launch their new gear line each season.
Trent is a great guy to ski with if you get a chance.
